Question about 2003 Toyota Camry

1 Answer

Intermittant P0136 I have a 2002 Toyota Tacoma, 2.4L manual. I see there is a TSB for this but it is vague. I was also told that it may be covered by Toyota if the vehicle is under 100K miles. Mine is at 84,500 miles. Please help. I'm a poor college student on a tight budget.

OK Thad code PO136 is your oxygen sensor the one before the catalytic converter and yes if your you bought your car brand new
from the dealer ship yes you are covered by the factory warranty
but if you got it from a used car dealer then you are not.

If you are not covered the good news is than that is not so hard to change.
all you need is a jack a oxygen sensor tool ( you can get it as a loaner on Auto Zone no charge ) and a new oxygen sensor.

If you don't know how a catalytic converter looks like click this link
good luck.

I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma. It has 95,000 miles and the transmission sounds like it is about to blow up. I have seen online that other owners are having this issue as well, what should I do, who should I...

You can go to to check for recalls.
You can also ask your dealer if there are known problems with this, sometimes there is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) but not a recall.

No heat 2006 f150 5.4 liter i changed thermostat ,still no heat

Is there no heat even with the temperature set to max ? There is a TSB ( TSB 08-23-6 ) where when the temperature is set between 68-72* F, EATC ( Electronic Automatic Temperature Control ) has intermittent operation. The same TSB covers inability to control temperature output on the EMTC ( Electronic Manual Temperature Control ) HVAC controls. There is a new temperature blend door actuator ( p/n : 9L3Z-19E616-E ) to cure the problem, if these symptoms match the ones you are having.
