Question about 2003 Dodge Durango
A red fluid is most likly trans fluid. the abs has nothing to do with that, the abs light could just be a faulty sensor, besides, brake fluid is clear or brakish. now, check to see where the leak is coming from. what i dont understand is brakelines run over the rear diff on most vehicles. see if the leak is coming from somewhere else.
my reconmendation is to take engine brite, which can be bought at any autoparts store, spray area of suspected leak, then rinse with a hose or powerwasher. wait for it to dry and see if the leak becomes more clear, how thick would you estimate the lines to be? 1/4 inch?? 1/8 inch. clean it and find out where the leak is coming from
