Will the transmission out of a 96 windstar fit into a 95 windstar?

The compressor is the same but it may have a different pulley and the plug may be indexed on the wrong side. If you have a set of snap ring pliers you can put your coil and pulley on that compressor or it may already be the same ones just make sure you put the plug where it is on your original compressor.

Check the bolt pattern,,, use a pice of card board on the transmission and opke out the holes,, then place this on the other transmission and see if it matches..

Depending on the model myou are looking at Yes it will fit, but you will need to rewire the neutralizing switch and the shift selector... as well as adjust the kick down cable.

If you need a transmission Id suggest you get a transmission full kit and rebuild yours..

it might but i would check to see that everything is exact and there are no differences in it that many years apart usually means they upgraded something or changed the way it mounts to the engine or frame

the 95 models did not have a vaccum modulator on them they were and electrronic transmission it is probably in the tranny itself.
