The front 3 plugs are removed in minutes naturally. It is the back three that are difficult. By driving the front tires on blocks you can slide underneath the minivan and reach the drivers side rear plug as well as the middle plug next to it. You may scratch your hands and arms a bit, but it can be done. The rear plug on the passengers side is the tough one. I moved the Alternator bracket after you remove the serpentine belt, which you don't actually have to remove completely, but you can remove three bolts, then loosen the one directly to the alternator and push the bracket upwards out of the way. Even with this opening the difficulty I had was having enough room to move a swivel socket wrench enough to loosen the plug. What finally worked was a pipe at the end of the ratchet for leverage. If you have a spark plug socket with a built in swivel it will make the job much simpler and a few extra extensions. Your going to want to use platinum plugs and anti seize so you can replace the plugs after 100,000 miles if you keep it that long. You can get to the plugs by the top, but your going to have to loosen the top intake manifold, throttle body, alternator, and a few more parts. Good luck and hope this helps. Be safe friend.

Why dose gas come out of tail pipe 2001 .3,3L

It's not possible for liquid gasoline to come out of the tailpipe - however, due to chemical processes that take place inside the engine and in the exhaust system which are too in-depth to explain here, it is very common for water to come out of the tail pipe - especially on cooler more humid days.

2001 dodge caravan 3,3L

I was working for a company that used 1995 Caravan's for their sales force and I do not know of any sensor. I am confused by the term "cover".

Do you mean valve cover? If so does the sensor go somewhere? I can solve your problem, but I need move info. Please call or email me.

Either, way let me know the outcome. Your feed back is my only reward. Also, please rank my answer with as many thumbs as you think I should get.

Timing marks for the Dodge 2.4L caravan, 2000

To align both sets of timing marks, turn engine crankshaft to the right with belt on cam and crank. Once you have done this the crankshaft alignment mark (on front of crankshaft gear) will line up with mark to the rear of gear on engine block. The two cam gear timing marks should be alines across from one another. The right cam gear is the intake side and the left side is the exhaust side. After removing the belt turn the exhaust cam down 1/2 notch. Timing mark on exhaust 1/2 notch down from the intake side. Install new belt and recheck everything to make sure it's all correct. Hope this will help you.

91 dodge all wheel drive

The only real differences between AWD and FWD are the transmission, rear axle and the driveshaft that connects them. There may be a different ECM for for engine tuning, but replacing the transmission and rear axle with FWD parts will accomplish what you want to do (transmission for your engine size). This is a big job, not for a DIY tune-up guy. If you just don't want AWD, remove the drive shaft to the rear axle.

no ya don't, its simple take an 8mm socket and remove the two bolts at the top and loosen the intake tube from the t-body. pull the intake resonater off. then you have 1 10mm bolt that holds the air filter. remove that bolt then pull out the airr filter cover. it can be a pain to go back together with it.:) good luck. but all ya need is a 8mm and a 10mm with perhaps a screwdriver for the claMPS

Where is the belt adjuster to relaese the belt from pulleys

This engine configuration probably uses an adjustable idler bearing and wheel assembly to apply tension to the serpentine belt that drives almost all the accessories. You'll need to loosen, (DO NOT REMOVE!) the hub bolt, then turn the adjusting bolt behind the wheel to provide the slack you need.
Or, did you mean the timing belt? That one has an oil-filled tensioner that requires clamp compression to collapse down the right clearance. Did that help? Let us know...accordianman

WHEEL CYLINDERS LEAKING

not a hard job, but like all things you better know what your doing. Replacing the wheel cylinders is easy but then you need to bleed the brake system of air bubbles. There are plenty of sources for this so just do some research. I have found the brake system weak on my 2000 caravan, so I need to do some research on better components.
