Your idle speed too low.take it to a dealer.they have to reset should be 600-800 rpms.when you turn on air conditioner.the computer steps up idling to keep engine from stalling .your curb idle too low.

Idles roughly, then low when stopped or in park, then dies. Decreasing gas mileage. Slow to accelerate

Sometimes that's caused by a vacuum leak near the manifold area.

Sometimes air in the coolant will cause an idle problem. Air will keep the air temp sensor from sending proper info.
Hope this helps.

Idling problems

Likly vacume leak. does it have the 4 litre straight 6? if so spray aero start at nr 1 & 2 intake to head & see if rpm changes.

My 2001 eclipse had way to much oil what does that affect with the running of the car

a number of things could happen. typically when you have that much "extra" oil in your system it over pressurizes the sytem and can blow out seals and other components. also if it was enough to completely fill the crank case it would blow your compression rings and cause blow bye to enter the cylinder. in which case you need to rebuild your short block.

In theory you should be worrying about all warning lights but that is sometimes impractical when it becomes necessary to allow things to develop in order to find out what might be going wrong and wait until a decisive problem appears - often the expected problem never does develop.

My mistubishi eclipse GT 2001 strts up just fine but after 10 min. or just after it starts to warm uf it looses its ability to idle. if uit ildles down to below 1500 rpm. it will just die. (stops running)...

The mentioned problem could refer to 2 things, O2 sensor or "clogged" injection system.
If the car changes the RPM dinamically then it would be O2 sensor, often stalls. Regarding clogged injection, preliminary try to rev to higher RPM, if that is the problem fast you will see the difference (maybe solves the problem, maybe will require cleaning.

Oil light comes on 2001 Eclipse

I think you ought to change your oil, and when you do that, buy a can of Seafoam that can be found at your local auto store and dump it down the hole where the oil goes so it can get all in the crank case. If you see white smoke for a little bit dont freak out, its just carbon build up thats burning off. Also have your timing checked.
