If you don't have the time to lubricate the cable, just try getting your foot underneath the ebrake pedal and pull it out gently while holding the release out. If it won't budge with gentle pressure then you will probably have to actually fix it. I've been having to do this for a while now as other, more necessary items get first priority.

Have to take the drivers side rear tire off and the drum. inside there, there is a cable that has a spring on it. spray it with WD40 and work it back and forth

sorry no, but once you get the tire off, you will see the drum. it is the thing with the bolts on it that attach to the tire. get a screw driver behind it on one side and pry a little and keep it there, then do the other side. keep prying from left to right. try going to www.wonderhowto.com

Do you need to replace it? It's within the cooling system and usually in a hose just off the engine block. You can follow the radiator piping back to the engine. But you're better off referring to a repair manual

Hi,
Some cars do not have an emergency brake release the way to release the emergency brake is by pressing it again harder than before. I know it sounds strange but some vehicle manufacturers have incorporated the release into the pedal itself. Good luck.
