I'd lay money that this is 100% related to a faulty turn signal switch (others call it a multi fuction switch). Next thing your probably notice is the fact that the airbag light will come on (the is a wire set inside the steering column that is grounding out) all this relates to grounding out the circuit for the relay and also needs replaced while your that far into replacing the turn signal switch. Hope your having better luck with your bravada than I am mine right now.

Bad earth or short can cause this
also check all globes operating not shorted internally can check with ohms meter if globes dont light up while relay is chattering or remove one globe at time can help to locate area of concern

Turn signal flasher location 2003 suzuki XL-7

the FSM book covers this.
as does alldata.com, (USA cars)
checked fuses yet?
turn/back fuse.
feeds the.:
turnback relay & answer back relay (module)
a digital switch in the lever (combo) it just sends ground logic
level to the module.
so sound to me to be
one light is shorted. (or trailer wire hacks) "visual inspections!,"
or the module is bad.
if both sides are bad, seems bad module to me,
if all lights blink fully bright on hazard the lights should be good.

the module is just under the steering wheel , under those
plastic covers, the books shows simple access. to the combo
my book dont show module location
i use a rubber hose to my ear to find any relay, clicks.
if you find hazard click , (assuming it does) then same place
is the turn sigs.
its not in the fuse box, cab , i looked.

hope that helps.

alldata.com
has it.

Car doesn't start. when ignition is turned (new ignition) I hear a relay chatter and my horn sounds intermittely, Battery is new & tested goo

The chatter is due to low voltage. Check all the connections. The battery may have corrosion that lowers the voltage.

Need to find lighting relay in a Discovery 1

The alternator is shot and is pumping out to much juice ... this has blown the bulbs and causes the relay chatter. I'm afraid it is a new alternator and bulbs :(

Engine (97 ford ranger) stopped at stop lite and would not restart. Spark to plug wires, plenty of gas, good battery. after cranking several times, will start and run 3 or 4 sec. THE RELAY TO THE FUEL PUMP...

Just for the hell of it replace the fuse with a new one relative to the fuel pump also clean and inspect all electrical plugs and connections associated with the fuel system. There may be a bad ground with out the truck in front of me it will be difficult to go any further it is possible the pump is not creating enough pressure to close the relay have you replaced the fuel filter? If possible do a fuel pressure check at the fuel rail it should be 30 - 40 psi if not replace the pump.
