On GM cars and trucks the most common source of refridgerent leaks is the front seal of the AC compressor, this is followed by the low and high side test/charging ports, more common on the low side. look for AC oil residue to help locate leaks

They leak at the o-rings,the compressor front seal, the condenser, everywhere. Take it to a shop & have them sniff test it. They may install dye to find the leak as well.

The most common sources of leaks are first the AC compressor front shaft seal and second the AC condenser core.

97 ford explorer a/c quit-the a/c clutch is not kicking in

You have lost the charge and that is commonly due to a couple of built in problems, these are, the AC line "O" rings leak after they harden up from heat and then on top of that the AC condenser leaks due to vibration, the condenser core will pass a vacuum test but it will be defective, so replace all the AC line "O" rings with the new design and replace the AC condenser core. A special tool is required to release the lines to service the "O" rings and any parts store will have the kit. I did hundreds of these at my Ford dealer

I have a Nissan navara the a/c has stop working

The most common cause of this is that the AC system has a leak and has lost its charge of refrigerant. You will need to have a vacuum pump attached and pull a vacuum on the system and see if it leaks down, if it does you have a leak, common areas of AC leaks are the AC compressor front seal (install rebuilt) condenser leaks and leaks at the AC line seals.

Ac condenser stopped working what are possible solutions

I am going to assume you meant AC Compressor as the condenser is basically like a radiator in that it cools the freon.

I would say that your freon is probably too low to kick the compressor on. This could be simple as adding some freon (With Leak stop(just to be sure)) would get it working again. The question is, why did it get low? Could be just age and it needs a little freon but usually means that there is a leak somewhere (Hopefully it is not the condenser leaking). Some leaks are small enough that you just need to add freon every month or so but they eventually get bigger. Look for oil around the AC connections and hoses. Could be an O-ring that has gone bad. Hopefully it is simply low on freon.

Water is leaking from a seam on my muffler 98 jeep

condensation is a common occurance in all vehicle exhausts. Your muffler is leaking in the seam which indicates that it may need replacement. Condensation will then be seen leaking form the tailpipe only. Generally, the heat of a warm car dries up this condensation. Short runs do not allow the car to fully warm up. Excessive short runs causes abnormal condensation buildup. Water inside your muffler will eventually rust it and thios is most likely why you see a leak in the seam in the first place.

I took my 92 accord to a mechanic to get an evac/ac charge. the gauges on the vacuuming device were reading very little pressure, although through some of the charges I've put in my ac in the past have...

Sounds like a blockage or a leak.

If your AC system even needs a recharge, that means the old refrigerant leaked out some time in the past. If someone used a refrigerant with leak sealer, while it works for some, it may have gotten a blockage in the system. Or the compressor might have gone bad in the past or is going bad and has thrown all sorts of **** in the system.

The most common place for a blockage is the orifice tube or expansion valve. Usually with the evaporator under the dash.

Do you know of any spot to look on 1998 jeep cherokee where the a/c could be leaking.

There are many places that the A/C can leak. Most common being the canister and the condensator, which is the radiator like part. The simplest way to find out how is to go to your local parts dealer and buy an A/C leak detection kit. You fill up the A/C system with a special can that has a dye tracer in it that reacts to UV light. So put it in and run it a little while, then use the special flashlight and glasses that come with the kit and your leak will light up before you eyes, making the job alot easier.
