Question about 2002 Toyota Highlander
The aforementioned lights came on today on my 2002 Toyota Highlander Limited. The owner's manual advises to see the T dealer . . . and I prob am. Howeversome and then some, I am reluctant to take it to the dealer and be at their mercy. Are these lights indicative of something serious and, more importantly, am I looking at a major expense . . . which I can hardly afford at this time. Is this something that a non-Toyota shop can diagnosis and make needed repairs? Thanks for any suggestions and/or advice.
I think that it may be a wheel bearing. i once had a 2000 pontiac grand am where i had the same problem. the problem lies in the electrical connector that is mounted on the wheel bearing. when it got replaced, the check engine light came off as did the trac light
