need to know where egr valve is on 1998 silverado
Problem for Chevrolet 1998 K1500
P0134 /P0306 Codes on Chevy Truck 1998
P0134 code and P0306 Hubby is deployed truck wont pass inspection! UGH! HELP ! can I fix this problem without a mechanic.. I am pretty good at finding what's what under a hood!

Am assuming this is a 5.0 liter V8...based on the codes:
P0134 O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected - Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0306 Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected
Do you have access (or know someone that has) to AKO? There are links repair manuals for military members on AKO. Help this helps.....SSG D. OIF III vet

in AKO look under Self Help> My Library > Fix Your Car > then go to Chiltons or ARRC link from there.
