take the car to autozone and get a free check engine diagnostic test done. they will tell you what the problem is. if and when you get the problem(s) corrected, take it back and have them reset the check engine light. drive 150 miles and see if the light comes on again. repeat until light stays off after 150 miles of driving
total check the engine. check the cooling system ,check the engine pistons, check the piston valve ,check the the thermostat which also part of the cooling system .cooling system ;means these the parts of engine that provide the engine not to over heat . Engine piston, engine block , engine valve and the other parts these are the one that compress the gasoline that makes the car run.if you have tools to u can do it your self .its better to be safe while on the street on your 1995Geo metro.

My 95 Geo Metro LSI starts easily, but dies whenever I press in the clutch to stop, when it is cold. Once the engine is warmed up, it runs fine. The computer threw a code to replace the MAP sensor. I replaced it to no improvement. I have replaced the coolant temp sensor, as well as the intake air temp sensor. I have replaced the computer and replaced the intake manifold gasket, thinking it might be a slight vaccuum leak. Still dies out when cold, runs great when warm. I have concluded that it is not increasing the idle RPM when cold. I have taken apart and examined the throttle idle control and found it to be working. What can you tell me? Thanks

I have a 2003 Dodge Neon, and a long time ago the check engine light came on, so recently I took it to autozone to have it checked, and it said it was a vacuum problem, so I got a new gas cap and light was out for about two days of over the road driving, then came back on. Now what?
