Does the indicator light on the dash stay lit? If so, one of the leads to the grid under your seat are broken off...Dealer only fix...and expensive.
Good Luck

Check continuity on the seat heaters. If that's ok, check the grounds. Check power to the heaters while you are there.

How do you operate heated seats

Press the button. If no heat it is usually the heater element in the seat has burnt open. They are located between the cushion and the cover and quite often burn out.

you can check the switch see if it's getting power to it and a proper ground, if it's getting both of those things then it is a faulty switch. hope this helps!

Heated leather seats will not heat up. Switch lights up and all fuses are okay. Is there a hiddedn relay I am not finding? Is there a quick way to determine if the problem is in the heating element under...

are you saying neither the heated seat cushion nor heated seated back on either seat works? But the light or lights does work?

Please rate as solved if this helps you. It took some time to dig all this stuff up. Please report progress.

Here's some info to start you off:

  • The heated seat is inoperative — seat does not heat but the heated seat switch illuminates when pressed
  • Circuitry.
  • Heated seat module.
  • Seat heater and temperature sensor.
  • Seat back heater.
  • Heated seat switch.

Ford drivers side heated seat doesn't work any ideas?

Most likely one of the heater elements in either the seat cushion or seat back is open.It leaves the module and goes to the seat back on the YE/LB wire thru the seat back and leaves there on the GY/LB wire and goes to the seat cushion and leaves there on the VT/LB. An open in either one of these will cause it not to work.Usally its the seat cushion one that goes bad.
You can test them with an ohm meter and you can get the heated element seperate. Just have to remove the cover to replace it.
