Problem for Chevrolet 2000 Silverado

2000 chevy silverado runs hot on incline

My truck runs hot on inclines or when I run the a/c. I have changed the thermostat and it seems to still run hot. I have changed my water pump about one year ago. It still runs hot. Also, could my water pump be bad? How can I tell if it is working? Thank you for any advice. Steve

Is the fan clutch working? Also check for something blocking the radiator. like paper or some other sort of road debris.
