94 chevy 1500 no engine braking

It has never been rebuilt and it just happened all at once one day, not over time like most wear and tear. i was thinking that it could be a sensor but i dont even know where to start.

Could you please clarify by what you mean by engine braking. Then maybe I can give you some ideas as to what the problem is.

Hard shifting

probably just your transmission being old and wear and tear catching up to it. engine braking is a good thing in a manual but since automatics cant judge how far to let out a clutch mechanism that doesnt exist to make it smooth, it usually causes more wear and tear than its worth. maybe time for a transmission rebuild and time to leave engine braking to manual transmissions. $30 brake pads vs $2000 transmission. hope this helps ya

sorry but your trans has went out. 3rd and over drive are on same shaft with different control solenoids once fluid gets hot not enough pressure for gears to engage internal wear and tear of system . have trans rebuilt or rebuilt unit installed or good used trans. jaspers used trans are warranted you can find them on line.

Coolent leaking from rear of engine can not see from where. When I stopped the car the fluid kept coming out. Engine overheated, I checked the front hoses they are dry and no leak from the radiator. What...

You could have a leak coming from the intake or even the heads. Before digging into those difficult items, I'd check all of your freeze plugs for damage/wear/rust/leaks.

I drive a Chevy Venture 2004. in the mornings, when I start up the engine, the brake pedal goes down when I push it. Sometimes, when I am driving slow and I push the brake, it goes down, more than normal....

first check brake fluid level
if fluid is low, this is a good indication that pads or shoes need replacing
check brake lings for wear
check that pcv valve from engine to brake booster is not clogged
to check this pull it out of valve cover and shake it
if it rattles it is good
if it dont rattle it is clogged, replace it
if pads and linings are good and no obvious signs of brake fluid leaking anywhere,(wheels cylanders etc>then the brake master cylander or brake booster is bad
more likely to be booster

What harm will come to engine components if cranked 300+times

The only things your gonna wear out other than starter are the items in the starting system( ignition switch, relay)
Regarding emergency brakes YES! you will do real damage if you forget to release the parking brakes.
