Need a diagram of fuse panel on 91 buick park avenue for heater fan

GET A GOOD FUSE TESTER TURN ON IGNITION SWITCH. TEST EVERY FUSE. 2 FUSEBOXES ONE UNDER THE HOOD, ONE INSIDE THE CAR. FUSES CAN BE TESTED WHILE IN THE BOX. FUSES HAVE TEST POINTS FACING OUT. POWER ON ONE SIDE, BAD FUSE, POWER ON BOTH SIDES, GOOD FUSE POWER ON NEITHER SIDE, SPARE FUSE.

Heater is not blowing heat fan does not come on at all no air hot or cold

check the heater motor fuse in the fuse box. if the fuse is good then check for voltage at the heater motor ( it could be a bad switch or relay ). if you have 12 volts at the heater motor - then it is a bad motor.
with the power on and the switch on use your hand and give the motorbox area a little love tap and see if it kicks on then,, if it does then l would say that the motor is starting to fail.

My heater is only blowing cold air in my 1996 buick park avenue. had the thermostat changed but it didn't get any better

Could be the diverter valve. It's the one located near the firewall2_bing.gif in the engine bay. The valve is in-line on one of the two coolant hoses that run through the firewall. Have a helper rotate the temperature knob back and forth, with the ignition turned on, and you watch to see if the valve is being adjusted. I'm guessing it isn't. Best of luck!

The heater fan sometimes will not start

Sounds like you have a faulty connection. You need to check the connections at the fan and the fan switch to ensure they're OK

Hope this helps,

Heater fan won't shut off

It's not a fuse problem. The controller switch is not working and needs replaced.

1996 Buick Park Ave -Hot air on driver side -Cold air pass. side

Behind the glove box you will see the heater box. On top of the heater box you will see a set of wires going to a small controller box that has an arm on it. It is probably not working and you can only by them at the dealer. It is the dual climate controller and cost approx. $100.
