When I have the vehicle running and pop the hood I can hear a clicking noise when someone turns on the A/C inside. Is this the ac clutch?

Make sure when you turn on the ac the ac clutch is ingaging if not take it to a ac repair machanic to have it leak tested and recharged.

visually inspect the clutch to see if it engadged when the switch is turned on if so it will compressand function if not you most likely have a loss of refrigerant

I have a 1995 Geo Metro five speed manual. I was driving down a two lane road when all of the sudden the car jerked then the engine died. I tried to restart it but get nothing when I turn the ignition

It could be you've lost the electrical ground connection to the engine. Follow the large cable from the negative post of the battery to where it bolts onto the engine and check if it's loose. If it's not you may have a bigger problem.

I would like to be optimistic, and I hope I'm wrong, but what you describe sound like the engine has seized. You can check by putting a socket wrench on the big bolt in the center of the main pulley at the front of the engine at the bottom. I suggest using a long-handled "break-over bar". Make sure the transmission is in neutral and try to turn it by pulling the handle towards the front of the car. It normally takes some muscle to move it, but if you give it all you've got and it doesn't budge, something's seized up. If it moves but still won't start, I'm all out of guesses.

If it won't move, the next step, if you choose to go further, is to take the timing belt cover off, remove the timing belt, and try turning the camshaft and crankshaft to see which one's frozen.

1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT - Blower Motor will not blow in the lower speeds, High Speed (5) only. Resistor has been replaced 3 times in the last twenty four hours, blower motor has been replaced twice in...

Your ignition switch is bogus. High speed runs directly off the speed control but the lower speeds go thru the ignition switch. Do not know why but that is the way it is!!!!!!!!
Replace the ignition switch and you will be back in business.

The HVAC blower fan on my 2001 Pontiac Aztec stopped working on settings 1-3 several weeks ago. Last week it stopped working at setting 4 and today it stopped working all together. What is the most likely...

the blower not working on settings 1-3 is the blower motor resistor. this limits the power provided to the blower motor itself to change the speed. at setting 4 it is getting full power. since it quit on 4 also, i would still say the resistor needs to be replaced first, then see if the blower comes back. you may also need a blower motor. if you have a voltmeter you can just turn the switch to 4 and see if the motor is still getting 12 volts. if it is and doesn't run, it needs a blower motor too. if it's not, then its just the resistor

My 2000 Ford Windstar LX is randomly losing all power & shutting down for 2-5 seconds while driving. Everything stops working ( like theres no battery in the car ), then it comes back and starts right...

If you just had your battery replaced recently before that, Either your positive or negitive terminal is probably loose and needs tightened. It may get jarred around, and do that shutdown your 2-3 times, until something jars it to a better connecting position.

2001 Chevy Blazer blower motor not working

It keeps burning out blower resistors because of the blower motor drawing to much amperage so you will need to replace the resistor and blower motor
