A/C blows warm air

I have a 2004 ford escape, which has been in the shop 4 times for this same problem. my a/c blows warm air no matter what setting it is on....from heat to cool. the 3rd time it was in the shop they found that my front seal on my compressor was leaking. they replaced all that and recharged it, and it worked for almost a year. now the problem has reoccurred! what is going on with my A/C, and why can't it seemed to be fixed?

If replacing the seal and recharging fixed the problem and if you have the same problem, your refrigerant is leaking down slowly. You can recharge yourself with a can or 2 of refrigerant that you can buy at wal mart or any auto parts store...inexpensively. Your leak is most likely at a connection. You can get a mechanic that is sofisticated enough to have a "sniffer" to locate the leak and repair.

Have them look at the doors for the heater box. There's a computer that runs them & they might need to be re-calibrated. If the seal leaked again on the compressor then ask for a new compressor. They shoulda done that anyway. Takes more time to change that seal than to replace the whole thing.

All my heater vents blow air when heat is on, but only the front gets warm air...all rear vents only blow cold air no matter how you have the heater set...not sure what the problem could be.

there is a diverter valve that lets hot water from the engine into a heater core, which is a device like a small radiator, which heats the air when it flows past. there is probably a second heater core for the rear. the valve for that one, or the switch or relay to control it is bad.

Generic problem for all Ford Escape Cars Front wheel bearings are noisy, need to change? how to?

Front wheel drive should be done by a shop. Rear wheel drive just a matter of removing the front wheel dust cover and remove the spindle hub. It is self explanatory thereafter.

Fully warmed up; blowing hot and cold; Suzuki XL-7

Its just a vent damper plate not operating, it's like a gate which controls the flow of air,,usually they are operated by vacuum, or cables.
Service center time, unless you are handy with your own repairs.
