Transfer case problems?

I have an 03 Suburban HD2500 4WD with the 8.1L engine. When I drive there is a clicking noise underneath until I hit 30 MPH. My dad thinks it is the transfer case. How can I know for sure? Can it be fixed?

Not sure but the problem could be with the transfer case. The transfer case uses a heavy double chain and as it wears it can make a noise.
