I had the same problem. My drain wasn't stopped up. The "all knowing" engineers at Dodge didn't make the drain protrude through the fire wall far enough. The water just runs out the drain then under the outside of the drain and back into the truck. My brother's solution was a copper elbow that he happened to have. (always good to have a brother with junk!) We simply stuck the elbow into the drain outlet under the hood by the fire wall and problem solved. The hard part is finding the drain and getting the elbow in. You can't see it so, you have to feel around for it!

The ac is a closed system so you should not have a leak into the passenger area from the ac your heater core may need replaced

Yea,go under the passenger side & you'll see a 90 degree piece of hose, that's the drain. You can pull it off & clean it or stick a coat hanger in it to un-block it.

Recently every time i drive my 1991 pathfinder and take a corner water just sloshes out onto the passenger side floor. any idea what causes the water?

the most common reason for this is the ac drain is plugged and water is filling up inside the heater box, you will need to locate the drain from under the truck on the pass/side and blow air into it or use a hanger to clear, you will see water pour out, this is a small hole sometimes it will have a rubber end on it with hole in the middle, clear opening and drain box, this is common, when ac is on you should see water dripping out on the ground from pass/side, it comes out through the firewall . good day.

Car mat on pasengers side is soaking wet is the drain off pipe blocked which is making the floor wet.

your drain plug under the floor is a rubber plug and it could have came out, to look for it look under your car on pass. side floor board and check to see if the plug fell out. Also this happens when the seel on the lower corner of the winsheild is not seeled or is missing some of the windsheild caulk in that corner. This happened to my car and it was the corner of the windsheild causing the problem. Hope this helps you and good luck.

check the floor and the trunk for water,it sounds like something is damp,or got wet. start there, also make sure heaterbox drain is clear, drain sometimes plugs up and the condenstion water then fills in the box and leaks into pass/side floor instead of draining outside. hope this helps.
