The diagram for the routing of the belts is on the radiator shroud or on the hood.

some use just the alternater with a worm screw to put tenso on the belt or the alternater will have a slider where the screwis located that allows you to tilt the alternater up and down to put tenson on the belt

Replaced alternater now cant get belt back on cant find adjuster

well not having put one on myself, here goes.all your pulleys that are smooth on the outside means the back of the belt is goin to be touching it, whereas the grooved side of the belt is gonna face the grooved side of the pulley.the adjuster just tightens the belt.good luck

1995 CRYSLER LHS,WONT START AT ALL,TRIED CHANGING SENSORS,FEUL PUMP,COIL PACKS AND COMPUTER BOXES,JUST WONT START?ANY IDEA?

If it is cranking with out turning over I would check the fuel pump and ignition relay, crank and cam sensors.
Basically you need to figure out if you have a spark issue or a fuel issue. (as long as you didn't have a serious overheating problem). One way to help you figure this out is by spraying in some starting fluid while cranking the engine. If it starts you have a fuel problem, if nothing then you have a spark problem (assuming you didn't blow the head gasket from overheating and was running normally before this happened).
Based on what you've already done here are my recommendations:
No spark: check ignition relay
No fuel: check fuel pump relay (aka shutoff relay, aka fuel pump shutoff relay), crank and cam position sensors, fuel filter.
There is also one other possibility, that the timing belt snapped. You would need to remove the timing cover to check this.

How do you change a timing belt on a 2001 crysler pt cruiser?

to change the belt on this vehicle you have to evacuate the a/c syst. disconnect the a/c lines on the right side of the eng compartment. Remove drive belts, remove balancer. Support eng with a jack, remove engine mount. remove timming covers. Time eng and proceed to remove belt.

Help! Air conditioner causes squeal soon after turned on

The ac is belt driven, If one of the belts are loose it will make a squealing noise. Turning on the air puts more strain on the belts. If this is the case all you would have to do is tighten the belt or belts. This would probably take a service tech just a few minutes. Probably under $100.00 dollars..........
