Question about 1992 Jeep Cherokee Sport
You need to do a bunch of testing...battery charge, fuel, spark etc to narrow it down. Two common failures are fuel pump and crankshaft position sensor, but do not change anything "till you have some real data to go on...neither part is cheap!!! (and, it could be something completely different)
