Jeep Cherokee stopped and leaked water and will not start

water, is it clear or green or to be more accurate.
is the water on the ground (its on ground right?) same color
as the engine coolant.????????
my guess is you overheated engine. (never drive leaking or overheating or unlimited engine damage can happen)

or it lost water and overheated.
1: check all fuses.
2: is the CEL lamp glowing key on, if not , it will not start, (lamp good)

btw2: make sure coolant is 50% Antifreeze at all times. or worse will happen.

Windstar coolant leak

Could be a cracked head and the leak is internal. The coolant is going out the exhaust. Soon the O2sensor will be no good. Try looking under the car for a cold water leak first thing in the morning or just after the engine reaches out side air temp

95 olds ciera overheated and won't start

engine got probably way too too hot could blowed head gasket cracked cylinder head.depends on how low coolant got if coolant level got close empty probably got engine damage.if coolant didnt get too low wait until engine cool down try cranking it.engine could have got so hot burned out ignition module.

1999 ford windstar runs one day next day acts like its locked up. then couple days later starts and runs fine no engine noise at all.

If any fluid, gas ,coolant, gets into a cylinder ,at the right cycle
it will cause a "hydroststic lock" liquid won't compress on a
compression stroke. After awhile the fluid will pass thru the rings or valves.
If the fuel mileage has dropped off think
about a failed fuel pressure regulator or stuck injector(unlikely)
Keep an eye on the coolant level,if it drops ,most likely an
intake gasket failing.

'99 Windstar. Overheated and threw belt off.

overheating can damaged cylinder head gasket resulting to low or no engine compression.coolant may enter inside the bore.check compression in all cylinders and traces of coolant on sparkplugs.compression of 100psi is still acceptable.

Car overheated one day the fine the next but no

your heat is not working becuase the coolant level is too low meaning your heater core is full of air. the reason your car overheated is because the water pump impeller splines are gone and you need to replace the water pump. it is driven by the timing belt so replace that too. and the tensioner. this is the number one cause of vw overheating, especially on a diesel. i have replaced about 50 water pumps on this engine because of this.

My 1996 ford windstar temperature gauge shows overheating

Your heater core more than likely needs to be replaced unfortunately. If the engine is heating properly and there are no freeze plugs that have been popped then that is your most likely problem.

Vam stalling

there are too many reasons...

it could be fuel pump,, it could be ignition coil overheating, it could be the computer itself...

you need two things for the engine to run,

1 is gas
2nd is ignition,,

with these two misfiring or your loosing one of them, it will stall...

i hope i was able to give you some thoughts....
