BMW 320D / 2007 - Handbrake binds - only when car faces downhill

Handbrake binds on when the car is parked facing downwards on a gradient. I need to reverse the car to fully release the handbrake before moving off.
When the handbrake is used on a level or facing uphill, its no problem at all

Possible cause for handbrake binding is either air in brake system (re bleed system) or brake caliper stiking

Hi
It is in your trunk. If you are facing the trunk it is to the right of the spare tire, underneath the black plasting covering. Pull out the black plastic tray and there you have it

Adjusting handbrake on bmw 320d 2007

Hi There,
You need to be careful about this. Ensure that it is always only when in the parking mode. The handbrakes in this model is rather fragile. Don't pull too far...and ensure it is released completely when about to drive.

Cheers

Reset the wheel sensors on BMW e46 because my ABS/ACS/handbrake light comes on together and doesnt go out even when i'm driving. I recently took it to BMW to get a diagnosis done on it. It came back saying...

If you took this in and had BMW do the work to fix it and it is not fixed why do you not return to BMW and get it fixed, If you have paid for a repair and the repair did not solve the problem have them refund your money.
