The light came on and the car bogged down.
whats the problem/
That is your a.s.r. light. It stands for acceleration slip regulation-the a.s.r. and other modules monitor your throttle position and will deactivate your control of the throttle when any wheel slip is noticed. You can manually shut off system by pressing the a.s.r. button and the yellow triangle will stay illuminated. When the a.s.r. is controlling your throttle the light will flash-this is normal. The earlier versions may just have a button that has a picture os snow chains around a tire un stead of saying a.s.r. on it I hope I have been helpful. If your a.s.r. light is remaining solid this means there is a problem with the system and you should have the car scanned for codes-this light sill actually say a.s.r. it is not the yellow triangle.
