Either of 2 issues...
latch is bent and needs to be straightened to the original position
or
the cable that runs from inside the car to the door latch is stuck and needs to be lubricated. Suggest Liquid Wrench initially to remove corrosion then any oil after a few days

SOURCE: 1997 buick park ave door lock buttom is loose. How

At the bottom of the door panel you will find several screws ( haven't removed mine in a few mo. and have forgotten how many ) there are also screws under the slotted bottom of the finger grip in the door panel. After removing screws lift the panel from the bottom and to the top of the door. You will encounter clips on the rear of the door panel the most problematic is by door locking mechanism. Use a small blade flat screwdriver to Gently prise the clip out of the metal door. To pass over the interior door handle piviot the door panel, Take Care the wires for window and door lock are located here!
I used Gorilla Glue to reseat my lock button be Cautious not to bind the lock button, or the function will be impaired ( won't work ) HAVE FUN

How to reset my float in my 1994 buick park ave

You cannot reset the float, only replace it. The float is probably soaked with fuel and not able to stay afloat any longer. Also, it's located in your gas tank.

1994 buick park ave supercharged can the sending

Look in the trunk to see if there is a round cover on the floor of the trunk. If there is then you'll have access to the sender. If not, then you'll have to drop the tank to get to it.

1997 park ave battery dies over night

I just posted my experience in another place on this site but on my 1992 PA the accessories relay stuck closed. This relay is the one that allows you to listen to the radio etc and keep things on until you open the door then all shuts off. When it is stuck closed accessories keep running until your battery drains dead. The relay was replaced and all worked great.

1994 buick park ave

The turning over without the starts; my car does the same thing. I would just keep trying and eventually it would run. Well, I was told it could either be a bad ignition coil, or maybe an oxygen sensor going bad. A tune up might help too. Does this happen after rainy weather? It could be a crack that's allowing moisture in the ignition parts.

Not sure about the windows, sounds like an electrical problem. Check the fuses yet? It might be a bad solenoid switch in the doors. My passenger side door lock never opens with the auto unlock, but it does lock. I have to manually unlock it. I've just been too lazy to replace the part. The strange thing is that in the 2 years I've had it, it automatically opened ONE TIME out of the blue, but then the problem came back.
