In order to charge, you must locate the low pressure valve to install the refrigerant. The low pressure valve is between the compressor and the evaporator. Do not charge on the High Pressure side, The high pressure valve is between the compressor and the condenser. To locate the low pressure valve, follow the line that comes from the compressor and routes toward the firewall. The valve will be somewhere on that line. Do not overcharge. The amount of pressure that is needed on the low pressure side will depend on the ambient outside temperature.

Pcv 2004 lincoln ls 3.9l where

The 3.9 L V8 Lincoln LS does not have a PCV valve. There is a tube on the drivers side of the engine that goes from the valve cover/crank case to the air intake and this is what performs the crankcase ventilation. There is no valve to change

Pcv 2004 lincoln ls v8 where

For the Lincoln LS V8, there is a flexable tube on the drivers side of the engine that runs from the valve cover/crankcase to the air intake tube. There isnt a PCV valve for this engine, it is just a tube for ventilation.

My 2004 lincoln ls air conditioner is blowing hot air. The ac filter light is on and so is the check engine light. Please help. What could be the problem? Does the system just need to be charged?

Your issues can not be answered easily or definitively, as the LS is very complex and all electronic.
I would need the stored codes, that set the check light (MIL Light)
You can cycle the right dash display to ACFilter and Reset, with the top row of buttons,in center of dash. There is no sensor on the Cabin Filter. All the dash displays, are just reminders, you can set any way you want, % wise.

Possible issues--Fuses
-- Coolant control valve
--DATC module

You will need a really good Technician, not a general mechanic, to diagnose your problem
You need to put a professional scanner on it, to start any diagnostic work

My 2005 Lincoln LS V6 has a message that says srvc P

The message means the electric park brake needs serviced. In this case I feel that considering the ac problem, the Coolant Control Valve is defective. The valve can create RF interference that messes with the electronics of the park brake system. The Coolant Control Valve is located at the right side bottom of the radiator fan shroud and has 3 heater hoses connected to it.

Lincoln lse 2005 ac blowing hot air on left side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your LS is blowing hot air on one side of the dash and cold on the other the problem most likely is the Dual Coolant Control Valve. The DCCV is used to control cabin temperature. This valve is mounted down low on the passenger side of the radiator fan shroud, and has 3 coolant hoses connected to it. This valve if found to be faulty will need to be replaced to correct the condition.

I HAVE A 2004 LINCOLN LS V8 NO AC BLOWS HOT AIR ONLY AC HAS REFRIG.

I recently had the same problem with my ls. I had to remove the drivers side front tire and behind the tire arm there is the low connector valve that is attached to the compressor- take off the tiny cap and connect the can of refrigerant. Kragen has cans with the valve attached- just follow directions- My air works perfectly now- and it cost under $25 to repair it!

Air conditioning recharge

look back towards the firewall in the low side AC line, that is the larger of the 2 lines, the charging port is in that low side line.
