Question about 2001 Chevrolet Impala
I had to put a radio in my car an when it was pluged up it reads locked how can i fix this
Try calling the dealership ask for the parts department, give them the VIN #, located on the front drivers windshield or the drivers front door has a label. Usually if it is the stock radio you can call the dealership and they can give you the code for it. If it is an aftermarket or you had bought another stereo from someone they may habe put a code so ask the person you had got it from in that case, or if you have bought a new radio look in the instruction manual to see if it has a code to program it.

You need a code to unlock it, if you know it kust input the code and it should unlock or if you don't you need to call the Chevrolet campany to get it.
