Leaky EGR. Faulty plugs or wires. Vacuum leak at intake manifold or hose connections. With enginre running, wiggle all vacuum lines around and look for loose damaged or disconnected hoses, and listen for a hissing.

Front Factory Fog Lights Dont work!

For my 99 jeep cherokee sport it was the switch itself that needed replacing. After doing a search on google I found one for about 30 bucks and it only take a few minutes to replace. I am a novice when it comes to these things but it wasn't to hard at all.

1995 Jeep grand cherokee is missing while running. When it is under a heavy load (driving fast) it runs fine. When idleing and slow driving it spits and sputters.

I have the same problem on my 95 grand cherokee laredo. Sometimes it starts out fine and after about 10 miles it starts spitting and sputtering. Then after a while it seems to clean out and run fine again for a little while. Then other times it starts out spitting and sputtering at the begining. I changed the fuel filter and that was not it. It is a 4.0L 6cyc. Any Ideas?

Thanks,

I had the same problem with my 99 Cherokee. I was told to replace the blower motor for the carburetor, works great and gas mileage improved.
