Brake lights only work with ignition on ,and the one in the back window of the hatch has a problem where the wires come out of the car body into hatch.their is a big thick rubber shroud with the wires in and i think they may have shorted out in here

The trunk open/closed sensor may be stuck in the open warning position . Find it and temporarily unplug it to see if the beeping stops .

Why when the key is off Only one potion of the brake light on the trunk stays on on my mustang. all the other are off

That car has a lot of lights for a stop light. Maybe they require more than one fuse and/or relay.
Hope this helps.

You have a brake light switch attached to your brake pedal, may be loose or bad.Read what it says,if bad light will stay on,easy to replace, just disconnect electrical connector, then unscrew nut, then remove, the end piece clicks on and off,I have a 85 Nissan 720 truck, have replaced mine before years ago. Ford e250 brake lights stay on

If the lights only stay on when key is in ignition, your central brake lights (or one of the lights) are out. The other lights stay on as a warning that the centrals(or other brake light/s) are needing replaced.

2006 Charger trunk popper won't pop with the key fob and the in-car button, what should I look for?

I had this problem also, does your third brake light come on? Also is your trunk light functional? If not there is a rubber boot from the car to the trunk lid, that those wires
run through make sure that the wires arent broken in there. That rubber boot on
my 06' Charger over time curled towards the window and got pinched and severed
all the wires. I soldered them and replaced the blown fuses in the trunk fuse box.
Problem solved.
