Fuel pump relay, or the simplest solution check the fuse block to see if you have a blown fuse. Most likely its the relay, but check the fuse block, under the dash and under the hood, maybe you'll get lucky. Good Luck.

Ran fine, shut off. Came back out, turned over but not start. Had jump started twice but put in gear and died. Question: I know low on gas, can this effect anything?

Possibly a fuel supply issue. Will require a fuel pressure tester. Could be in tank pump or a bad fuel pump relay. In a quiet environment, turn key on (not start position ) and listen if you can hear the guel pump run for 1 or 2 seconds.

Ran out of gas, and won't start

May need 20% fuel load, in tank, for it to start

Until you have that, the PCM (computer) will not
allow it to start,maybe

You could try clearing any codes or data & see if
that works

If you run it out, you can also ruin the fuel pump

The pump needs fuel to lube it,as odd as that seems

Ran out of fuel put some fuel in gas tank but still wont start

Try removing fuel filter, empty it and clean, try again, sometimes loose particals from bottom of tank may be picked up when ran dry

Ford transit connect ran out of diesel and wont start

a lot of times if u turn the key on and off without startig the engine in a quiet area you will hear the fuel pump kick on do this a few times then try to start the engine. If you cant hear the fuel pump that may be the problem, another solution would be to remove the injecters and clean them

Truck wont run

From your brief description I would guess your alternator failed, and when you ran down the battery the truck died. Was there a charge light lit on your dash? Cars will run a long time on just the battery, but when you turn on the lights, wipers, heater and other stuff it drains faster. A jump or a charged battery will confirm if this is true. From there it is back to the basics: fuel, spark, compression.

With more information we can go further.
