    Hello again budice7h20,

I found the Advanced Autoparts store you mentioned and was
advised that they do not carry the oil pan for my Suzuki Verona and checked with pep Boys with the same result. Do you have any other suggestions maybe?

    Thank you

The main thing that would cause cracks in the oil pan would be hitting something or bottoming out. Pans range from about 60 ta 125 dollars new for your vehicle. No clue as to where your from or where you live so I cant give you a parts store right off hand, im sure you can order one online, but the price may be a little higher. Let me know if interested and ill see if I can find the best one for you.

Your welcome, and by the way you can get your oil pan at Advance Autoparts. You can go to their website, get the closest one to you, and directions.

Ok, conclusion is.. Oil pan has to be bought from a dealer.. I located a few and found out a few things. Jack Phelan Suzuki, has one for $225.70 (before taxes), and phone number is 708-352-5300. Suzuki car parts online has one for the same price, but if you order online its $214.42. I alos gathered a few numbers to call to see if you could locate a cheaper one. 847-745-4234, 630-532-5600, 847-882-5400, and 708-720-8100.

I would advise getting a second opinion A mechanic told me my 92 Le sabre 's tranny was shot and when I took it to another mechanic he found my spark plug wires were shorting out and causing the car to down shift when you went up a slight incline and it would jump in and out of different gears. I replaced the plugs and wires myself and it rau like new.

The Oil light came on on my 1996 Mercury Sable I changed the Sending unit but that didn't help so I was told that it may be the oil pump I pulled the oil pan off, and removed the oil pump. I tore

Have you checked if the fault is your oil filter, probably the filter pressure valve inside doesn't keep any pressure? or the other thing is a possibility of the pressure pipes are clogged or semi clogged.

2004 Chev Epica - oil light comes when car comes to a stop

the oil light is coming on due to sensed low engine oil pressure, this is not a level issue unless u are about 3 quarts low, oil pressure indicators don't leave any computer codes, so who ever told u that is wrong, u need to test the oil pressure with a mechanical gage when the oil light is on, until U need to confirm that u don't have a real pressure issue here or you can burn out the engine bearings, if the pressure checks ok then rplace the oil pressure light sending unit in the engine.

Took my 2002 honda accord in for oil change was told I could possibly have an oil leak as oil was low. What could cause this?

Worn gasket seal around pan, worn or loose oil plug, pin hole in pan, someone forgot to put back the oil cap are some suggestions that come to mind.

05 cavalier oil pan

Did the cracking originate from around the drain plug or elsewhere? During the oil change, the only part that they would have had to touch would be the drain plug, and if they over tighted it, but you would think that if they did that, it would just strip the threads. I would definitely talk to the manager at the shop where the oil was changed, as even if they didn't cause the crack, I am surprised that they didn't notice it either.

Customer with cracked oil pan on Verona 2004.

The only problem we have with the oil pan is that drain plug gasket leaks if not change out at oil changes. I replaced one pan due to threads coming out. But as for stress cracks, little fine lines, normal. They don't leak, leave it alone. Don Suzuki tech
