Any Good quality scanner will work. Not the pocket rocket scanners at auto part stores for a couple hundred bucks.

SOURCE: Supercharger

no. But the only thing a under crank pulley performance is, is the gap and lightweight material used. You can go to custom shops and they can machine it for you under $200. dont know why you would want that. It really does not increase that much performance. But if you have the supercharged model than you can also try to look it up by other engines just like yours. Lot of cars have the same model engine. For instance

1986-1995 pontiac bonneville, oldsmobile delta royale, buick lesabre, oldsmobile toronado, buick regency. Lot of engines out there have the same specs, but might be available in performance parts under those names.

good Luck! if it's not supercharged just get the Kit!
or
http://www.gude.com/

they will customize anything from cams to harmonic balancers/crank pulleys.

GoodLuck!

Does supercharger work with regular Buick Riviera motor

Superchargers work with most engines but the engine has to be build to handle it or you will blow your engine. You can get a kit online to build the engine to handle it & install the super charger but costs are starting around $2000 and up.

Hello lysiphlebus2,

((My thoughts: cold START valve IAC at very bottom))

Plenty of places will do FREE diagnostic code reads.

I would rather suggest it be a muffler shop than
AUTOZONE... but either is better than guessing.

AUTOZONE will likely make you buy OXYGEN
sensors... (but that makes about as much sense as
buying a new THERMOMETER every-time you
have a FEVER.

What you are describing sounds (from an old
mechanic's perspective) like a collapsing
catalytic convertor or rotted muffler baffle
(a slightly better blockage will halt operation
completely)...

((again speculation... get your codes read))...

Do not buy OXYGEN SENSORS....

Know your prices before waltzing into any
exhaust shop.

You should also swap the transmission if the motor is going to be more powerful. Also a new computer will be needed for the swap. If you are looking for an easy swap then just find the same motor.

Wanna know if i can put a tranny for basic 1995 riviera in my Supercharger

you will most probably need a beefed up tranny to take the power of the engine, I have just installed a 350 supercharged chevy motor in my sons car with a Turbo 350 transmission and a shift kit which I have been told by an auto trans mechanic may not take the power of that engine.
It is costing him $1500 australian to have it reconditioned so I hope it will survive the rides
