Question about 2000 Chevrolet Silverado
I have a 2000 Silverado 5.3 4x4. Ever time a go over bumps i hear a LOUD CLANKING sound but only when the rear of the truck hits the bumps! I've already had all 4 shocks replaced, i been under the truck several times banging everything and nothing sounds like it. My heat sheild makes a lil noise sometimes but it's definitly not that! Can anyone help me? thanks,Nick....
Also check all your suspension bushings make sure they are all good. spare tire holder maybe? make sure none of the rear leaf springs are broken. also make sure all the bolts holding the bed down properly. make sure it isnt your tailgate either... could pretty much be anything. just make sure you bushings are good and everything is tight.
