Very simple it is under passenger side of dash.Disconnect wires to the blower and the little rubber vent hose.there are screws in a circular pattern around it remove those which usually are 7mm or 9/32 and reverse process.

Replace the heater blower motor resistor in 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Having trouble finding the I take off more than the glove compartment door / box?

if its in the way yes...But the resistor is usually mounted within the blower motor box. Wires powering up the blower motor is coming from the resistor. Follow those lines!!

My 1998 Jeep Wrangler Heater Motor only has one speed High. Nothing on any of the lower ones, no matter on ac or heat. What could be the problem?

This is 100% the Blower (Fan) Motor Resistor located near the Blower Motor.
This is a very common problem with Chyrsler, Dodge, Jeep and Plymouth. The key symptom is the Fan only working on High.
This is very easy to access and replace.

Let me know if this helped....

1997 jeep wrangler se,fan for a/c and heat quit.all fuses seem good.any other relays or switches jeep have had probs with?

If it only works on Hi, then your resistor is blown. If you can pull the connector to the blower fan and use a voltage tester to find voltage there with the fan switch turned on then it's the blower motor. If there is no voltage there, then its the switch on the dash. Usually the resistor and the switch only die because the blower motor is about to die and is pulling more current then it's supposed to. Change the blower motor too if that's the case.

Heater blower switch only works on high

I'd replace blower resistor, usually found under hood on firewall on passenger side, or on duct work, inside under dash on passenger side, close to blower motor.

Jeep Blower Motor

The blower motor squirrel cage blower wheel must be rubbing inside the blower case or something is in there like leaves..
