Mmm yes feasible, it is positive crankcase ventilation afterall, if its blocked then more pressure onto the seal. But seal does get hard and leaks oil overtime, usually replace @ cambelt period.

My Chana Star bakkie 1.3 blows water out expansion bottle and then starts to get hot after about 25 km

Sounds like a cracked head or bad head gasket. Have it checked by a mechanic.

How would a blocked pcv affecr oil leaks

The PCV valve allows crankcase pressure to be vented back into the intake. If it gets plugged, crankcase pressure builds up and has nowhere to go. Oil is going to try and escape any where it can, gaskets are the first place to let oil past them. Another weird thing is the oil dipstick might push itself out.

Can a blocked pcv cause a oil leak

The upper part of your engine is like a compressor. The lower part is similar, but not to the same degree because there is a lot of room in the lower part of the engine which keep the pressures much lower. Yes, a blocked PCV valve can cause excessive crankcase pressures to build up which can cause oil to leak out of oil seals which are worn and weak. In some cases it can even cause oil leaks on low mileage engines which have no means of venting the crank case pressures. I hope this has helped you. Usually I don't run into too many stopped up PCV valves, just restricted ones and ones which won't close when they are suppose to.Good luck
