Question about Chevrolet Cobalt
2008 cobalt coupe with manual transmission -- does anyone know why the center armrest / console fits only automatic models? the center console looks identical in both but the dealer lists the part as fitting the automatic transmission model only: will it fit a manual model or not? and if not, why not? thanks just dont want to waste the $90 to find out the hard way.....
Looks can be decieving ... more than likely it is due to the shift linkage and the underside of the center console. remember it is all molded plastic so they can have the top look identical and the bottom (or underside) could be completely different.
