Question about 1990 Chrysler LeBaron
So today my car coasted to a stop in my office parking lot (after luckily driving me the 27 miles to work). I restarted it and it sputtered and died then wouldn't restart after that. There is half a tank of gas in it, and I had the gas tank replaced 2 years ago for being rusty and causing false readings. I tried to restart it later this morning and it started right up and then immediately died. Does this sound like the fuel pump? And how much might that cost me to get it fixed?
This very well could be the fuel pump, but I would suggest changing the fuel filter first,(if you dont regulary have it serviced). As for the cost the pump will cost about $80.00 and the labor will depend on the technician that does the work, but to estimate it at my rate would be $75.00. Thanks and good luck with your repair.
