Fix truck heater

Is the temperature gauge reading about 210 degrees? If the temp is low, the thermostat may be stuck open and not allowing sufficient heat. Also check the heater hoses to see if they are hot to the touch. If one feels hot and the other is cold or only warm, heater core is becoming clogged.

What all does heater contoll valve do

The heater control valve restricts hot coolant from flowing thru the heater core when the air cond is running.
Usually if it fails, you have no heat.

I assume this truck has daul zone heating and a/c, the air blows but is not hot? if this is the case then you may have dissconnected the blend door actuator or it just went bad. this is common that the actuator goes bad,
there are two seperate actuators that control the hot/cold door in the heater box this way the passenger and driver can set there on temp.
the actuator for the drivers side is locted on the drivers side under the dash on heater box, the blower is on the passenger side , you can check connections but i do not think it is that but rather the actuator.

THE HEATER BLOWS OUT HEAT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BUT DOES NOT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. REPLACED THE DUEL CONTROLS THIS DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM

You have a bad actuator motor, this car has daul zones, one for pass and the other for driver, there are two actuaTOR motors that control the door for heat or cold air the driverside is bad, this is located on the heaterbox, heres a picture of it but take note there are about four of these motors you will need to move all controls until you find the one that doesnt move then that will be your bad one it should be in the center of the heaterbox,ab232dc.jpg

2008 Impala heat problems

remove the radiator cap and let the car run for 30 minutes to let the air out of the heater coil, these radiator caps on the 2008 Impala will not bleed off, while running notice if air bubbles air slowly rising to the top of the radiator cap, re-install cap and see if this fixes problem, we also purchased a new radiator cap, this fixed my wifes car.

My 2001 chevy impala heated seat stoped working, how do i fix this issue. where do i start troubleshotting, I replaced the fuse.. no good

It's very likely a broken wire to one of the serveral heating pads in the seat. The next possibility is the heater module which is located under the seat.
When I fixed the heated seat on my Pontiac Bonneville, I just pulled the seat out of the car. The heated seat wires are pretty obvious when you can see under the seat. I had an obvious broken wire that shorted against the seat spring. I repaired that had had resistance in the seat circuit. It turns out that my heater module was also bad. I switched it with the passenger seat and it works fine now. The module is about $80-100.
