Question about 1994 Dodge Dakota Club Cab
Have replaced 02 sensor, so now it cranks, runs smooth, fine...but give it throttle too much and it bogs down. Stop somewhere, turn off, cranks fine, about 3 times or so, then 4th stop, cranks, and sounds like hitting on 2 cyl's, runs like that for a few mins, barely... then suddenly, starts running just fine, except push too much gas, and it doesn't really have the power it should! 5.2ltr v8 318 ... new plugs, fuel coming to injectors... "possible catalytic converter?" ??? Ck'd about everything can be ck'd. Like the computer see's something wrong with emissions and don't want the truck to run. Did this all the sudden after filling up with gas. Maybe water?, but used a stablizer, no luck! Doesn't flash "any" code for a problem!
You will need to check the fuel pressure, if it is on the minimum pressure side or lower then you will need to change the fuel pump.
