My 2006 f150 has new brakes and rotors, fluid full but my dash brake light stays on. Soon as you start it and the whole time you drive. Also the cruise quit too. Once the light went off then the cruise

This sounds like the brake light switch or the control switch on the brake pedal is bad or loose. Check under the dash above the brake pedal there should be one or two switches that tell the brake lights to come on and the cruise control to shut down.

How do i fix or replace the break light inside my dash. It stays on even when there is nothing wrong with my breaks

The brake light is a warning that your fluid level is low. Check the brake fluid reservoir if the fluid is in minimum level. If the level is okay and it is full, the problem would be float sensor in the reservoir.
Please check the connector of the float sensor if it is connected and try to clean the metal pins( might be full of dirt and grease ).
The float might be stuck to "low" thats why the brake light up( move the float up and down to free it ).
Hope that helps you out.
Thank you for using FixYa!

I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the brake light is staying on when vehicle is in park...why?

are we talking about the rear tail brake lights or the light on the dash. if dash light possible emergency brake slightly applied or low brake pressure in brake system or low brake fluid in reservoir. Rear brake lights ? check the brake switch under dash as it may have come mis adjusted for proper on/off activation

While driving my brake light in the dash boards comes on. It goes off when I press the brakes really hard but comes back on when I hit the gas to continue driving. Its happening more and more, just about...

Have your brake system inspected, you have a fault somewhere...could be your low on fluid or you need to change your brakes....hard to know without inspecting.
Have a wonderful day.

Parking brake light stays on,brake is not

check teh switch, located under the dash, and is touched by the brake lever, also, back brake adjustment and emergency brake cable adjustment (in that order) can cause the parking break lever to not fully return and activate the switch.

Also, Ford uses this light to indicate low brake fluid level. There is a switch on or near the fluid reservoir.

My brake light on dash came on wit i p under it i pulled my release brake up to make sure i didnt press my brake by mistake but it didnt go off

The most common problem with Fords and the brake light staying on is low brake fluid in the reservoir. Top it off using fluid from a new, unopened container of the grade fluid specified in your owner's manual.

Brake fluid levels go down as your brakes wear....this is normal. Topping off the reservoir should make the light go out, but please be aware that this also indicates that your brakes have worn down some, and they should be checked. If there are any abnormal noises or the car does not stop like it used to, you probably should also have your brakes serviced.

When I put my foot on the brake the pedal goes all the way to the floor, but the car stops. The brake light does not show as a problem on the dash board.

This is a very dangerous situation.
First check under the hood at the Master cylinder reservoir. This contains the reservoir of brake fuid for your hydraulic braking system. It has marking on how full it should be. Use DOT-3 brake fluid for regular passenger cars. Fill the reservoir up to the proper mark, and replace the cap. Pump the brake pedal and see if it gets stiffer.
Also see if there are any leaks around the tires, the fluid is supposed to be in a CLOSED system. There should be no leaks.
If air has somehow gotten into the brake fluid system, this can cause VERY serious problem. Fluids (hydraulic) do not compress, but air does. The air will cause the system to act delayed as the air finds a way to release the pressure (ie by moving a brake cylinder) ( hence the late braking)
My suggestion would be, check the reservoir 1st, then take it to a shop and have the brakes bled.
No side trips, straight to the shop!!!!!

The emergery brake when released the light stays on i push it down it goes off while driving it come back on

The idiot light that warns of brake issues is also used to signal low brake fluid level. Check the brake reservoir level and add fluid if below the guide line.
If the reservoir is very low, you may have a system leak and eventually air in the lines that could cause serious safety problems.
