On the 2004 dodge ram 5.9 diesel. Do I losen the tensioner ?? I thought it said to remove it. I lossened it. Not sure how tight to tighten it back ? Now I have a squeak. Not sure if the tensioner is lined...

most tensioners are spring loaded. you put a socket and a Johnson bar (as we used to call it) on the pulley and turn the pulley away from the belt so you can remove the belt.
As for the squeak, try some belt lube
To re-tighten the tensioner, you may have to loosen the mounting bolts and put some type of pry bar between the mounting bolt assembly the put downward pressure on it and tighten the bolts.

Looking for a diagram for a serpentine belt for a 2006, Dodge 2500

The main drive belt or serpentine belt is important on any vehicle, but some have more than one belt to drive components from the crankshaft. The Dodge Ram and similar truck models have one true serpentine belt, a multi-ribbed belt that fits into grooves on various pulleys, that Dodge suggests inspecting for wear every 15,000 miles or 12 months.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Because the electric fan can start even without the vehicle running, some mechanics suggest disconnecting the battery terminal while working in the serpentine belt area.
2Locate the serpentine belt tensioner pulley. The belt tensioner pulley will have a bolt on its side. On some Dodge Ram models, the tensioner is directly below the air conditioner compressor pulley; look for it above the crankshaft pulley.
3Rotate the tensioner pulley by turning the bolt, either with a wrench for some models or a breaker bar or ratchet for other models.
4Slip off the belt and let the tensioner return to its position.

How to put a idler/tensioner pulley on

remove accessory belt ,remove center bolt holding pulley to front of eng. likely to be a 9/16 or a 5/8. To install new one, make sure you line up the dowl pin to the hole, install bolt. To reinstall belt will require either a 3/8 or 1/2 in. drive rachet or breaker bar to reduce tension allowing belt to slide on.

What does a tension bolt of a 2004 dodge ram 1500 4.7 liter look like

It is a bolt that is on the pulley that is spring loaded...usually a 15mm wrench will fit it, but sometimes needs a special tool that can be rented at Auto-zone, and they will usually show you which bolt it is since there are usually two pulleys that can be confusing.

Tensioner pulley ram 2500

You have to replace the whole thing. Usually the whole tensioner has to be replaced it should be bolted to the block with a 15mm bolt or a Star fastener T-48 or T-50.

Water pump

Is it a 99 or an 03? Either way fairly simple. You will need to remove the splash shield on the passenger side wheel well. Removing tire is optional. If it is a 99, the pump should be located near the radiator. Loosen the bolts that hold the pulley on the pump before removing the belt. This will save you time later. Remove the belt, then remove the pulley. Take all the bolts out of the waterpump. Install in reverse order. If it is an 03, it is near the firewall side of the motor. Remove shield, loosen pulley bolts. The pulley will not come off until you get the water pump out, but you need to remove the bolts for it any way. Take the bolts out of the waterpump. You will need a pry bar to get the pump/pulley out. You can pry on the tensioner against the fenderwell and wiggle it out. Install in reverse order.
