The relay you are looking for is not a color there are 4 relays in the power distribution box. It is located on the drivers side below the battery there is a cover remove the cover and you will see 4 square relays one on the left and three on the right the fuel relay is the second one up on the right. There is also a fuse for the fuel pump it 30 AMPs and located on the left side of the Power Distribution Box and is the 5th fuse up.

You probably have an electronic ignition system to go with those fuel injectors. It sounds like it runs just long enough to empty the fuel out of the injectors, which means there might be a vacuum problem. I'm a carburetor person myself. Are you sure it sound like it NEEDS gas or could it be flooding?

I need to change fuel filter for 1992 f150 [relay diagram]

To relieve the pressure, find on the fuel rail on the intake a schroeder valve, looks like a larger version of a tire valve, possibly with a cap. Remove cap, push center pin on valve to relieve pressure. Caution as high pressure fuel will come out, I hold a rag over it while I do it.
