It sounds like you have low freon level. If there is a leak somewhere in the system and the freon charge goes below a certain point the a/c compressor will not turn on this is a safety feature so the compressor does not destroty itself.. You can look at the lines and compressor to see if there appears to be any sign of leakage, it will look like there is an oil leak and there is usually dust stuck to the oil. If you need more trouble shooting information and are comfortable in the engine compartment I can go further. If not take it to an a/c shop for an inspection. Also a word of advice. make sure you run the a/c once in a while durnig the winter months, this keeps all the seals well lubricated and can prevent future leaks.

Show how to replace power outlet fuse for 2006 Toyota Camry

Interior Fuse Box Location 2002 2006 Toyota Camry 2006 Toyota Camry LE 2...

The video above shows how to replace blown fuses in the interior fuse box of your 2006 Toyota Camry in addition to the fuse panel diagram location. Electrical components such as your map light, radio, heated seats, high beams, power windows all have fuses and if they suddenly stop working, chances are you have a fuse that has blown out. If your Camry is experiencing electrical problems, you should always check the fuses first, because they are relatively easy to check and cheap to change. Some Toyotas have multiple interior fuse boxes including in the trunk - the video above will show you where the interior fuse box of your 2006 Camry is located. If your Camry has many options like a sunroof, navigation, heated seats, etc, the more fuses it has. Some components may have multiple fuses, so make sure you check all of the fuses that are linked to the component in question.
If you need to replace a blown fuse in your Camry, make sure you replace it with one that has the same amperage as the blown fuse. If checking and replacing the fuse for the component in question doesn't work, we recommend seeking assistance from a trusted professional mechanic. They should be able to figure out if the component needs to be replaced or if there is a short or some other problem with your Camry.

Good Luck

Blower not working on the ac or heater

I would check the fuse box if you haven't already. Replace any blown fuses. See if that fixes it. If it continues to blow... or if there are no fuses blown, you may have a blower motor that needs replacing.

Here is a good video of how to replace. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoX89ZvK03Q

Ac not workng

The musty odor is moisture in the HVAC box. Someone needs to check and see if the system is full of freon, then check the circuit going to the ac clutch for power.

Hi William, I'm glad to help!

William, after working in the automotive field for over 40 years I can tell you that most electrical problems that occur after someone has installed a stereo system comes from a fuse blown somewhere in the system. Take a test light and check all the fuses first if you find one blown replace it and see if everything starts working again. If everything starts working again then your fine, BUT, if its still not working then don't stop there because more then one fuse may have been blown keep going until all fuses have been checked. Hope this helps and have an awesome day William.

No ac nd my fan stop working completely

Fuses blow because of higher than normal amperage in the circuit. Not sure what circuit the blown fuse is for but if it is for the fan the fan may be shorted therefore blowing the fuse. If you put fuse in while the ac was still on try shutting off the ac then putting the fuse in. See if it blows then if it doesn't then turn the ac on and if it blows you have at the very least isolated the system at fault.

Heater/defrost/ac does not blow in my 2006 tacoma. worked this morning, parked at work, came out half hour later and would not work.

what has most likely happened is that a fuse has blown that is in your blower fan circuit. Check your owners manual, and see if there is a fuse to that system, if there is, check and see if it is blown. If it isn't, then the problem could either be your blower fan itself, or your blower motor resistor. Generally, when the blower fan goes bad, no speeds of the fan work. When the Blower motor resistor goes bad, usually only 1 speed of the fan works. Try the first suggestion i gave, and it everything checks out in the fuse box, then try all of your fan speeds. If one works, you need a blower motor resistor, if none work, then it is most likely your fan. Let me know how it goes and i'll do my best to assist you further. good luck.

Honda odyssey 2006 front fan and AC stopped working. ac and radio lights also stopped working

Sounds like a fuse or relay/solenoid issue.
Fuse box is in the back left hand corner of the engine compartment. The "map" to show you which fuse/relay is which is printed right on the inside of the fuse box cover.
Worth the $5 or so to replace the fuses or solenoids.

My AC stopped working and my dash board coolant reader is all dashes. What does this mean?

Sounds like a fuse has blown. Check you fuse box for the ac fuse/ or look for one that says gauges, make sure its not blown.
