Hot wire the blower motor to the battery...does it run? did you check ground?

Blower motor only works on high for 2004 jeep grand cherokee what is the fix ?

This is caused by a defective blower motor speed control resistor. The resistor is located next to the blower motor with one end going into the air ducting and the other sticks out with an electrical connector on it.

T he blower motor only works in the hi position , i believe i need a new resistor, where exactly is it located ? on the blower motor itself and inside the vehicle? do i need to tahe the blower motor out?

I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee and recently had the same problem...only I actually replaced my blower motor before I found that it wasnt the issue. The blower motor resistor is located on the passenger side under/behind the glove box. It will have 2 screws in it and a wiring harness coming out of it. Very easy to replace. Cost is about 115-145 depending on where you buy.

Blower motor only works on high on 98 jeep grand

you need a temp limited switch and for the most part its close to the blower motor has a small screw on each side with a plug in the middle give these websites a try www.autozone.com and www.alldatadiy.com if all fails stop by your Jeep dealership in the parts department and they be able to show you what i am talking about and print you off pictures and diagrams showing you where it is located wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

A/c heater fan no blow

sounds to me like the blower motor resistor, and if I'm not mistaken the resistor and the blower motor are located under the dash on the passengers side. the resistor should have a wiring connection and 2 screws attaching it to the blower case. The a/c and heater blower will not work if the resistor goes out. hope this helps you out a little. Best wishes.
