2000 Acura CL 3.2 no power to fuel pump

Your emergency fuel pump cutoff may have tripped. If so you will need to find and reset it. Also maybe a blown fuse or bad fuel pump relay. The relay is most likely in the engine compartment inside some sort of black box easily accessible. Both the fuse and cutoff switch is most likely under the dash.

My 96 2.5 acura won't start put new fuel pump relay the engine turns but won't start up

Fuel pump relay is fine but are you not getting fuel still? If this is the case and I'm not sure of the model you have but since you say it's a 2.5 I'm going to guess at the TL. If this is the case there is also a fuse for the fuel pump. That fuse is located in the interior fuse box. It will be in the number 15 position (see picture of layout below). I am assuming fuel is the issue but if your not sure, check to see if you're getting spark to the spark plugs. If not you are in a whole different area. Not sure if this helps you but I hope it does. You can reply to this and I should recieve an email letting me know if you have any questions. you can always email me at csautomotivecars@att.net just let me know the model and year so I know for sure. Good luck!

Having trouble dropping the tank please give me step by step instructions on how to drop the tank for 96 acura tl 3.5 i need to check my fuel pump. thank u

Drain the tank with a fuel evacuation pump, then remove the straps that hold the tank in. Once you have done that slowly let the tank down. There will be hoses that are connected to the tank remove those. Then disconnect the fuel lines. Un-clip the electrical connection from the fuel pump, then lower it to the ground and drag it out.

HAVE A 96 ACURA TL 2.5 , WAS RUNNING FINE NOW IT HARDER TO START AND RUNS ONLY FOR MINUTES WHEN YOU PUSH THE GAS IT TURNS OFF. HOW CAN i TELL IF ITS THE FUEL PUMP OR RELAY SWITCH? PLEASE HELP

You will have to have a fuel pressure test done on the vehicle ,but it is either the fuel filter,or the fuel pump witch has gone out,it is not a relay,or fuse,or the pump would not work at all.Replace the fuel filter and see if the engine performs correctly .If the fuel filter helps, but the engine still runs poorly, replace the fuel pump,if the fuel filter went to long, being restricted,it will wear out the fuel pump.

My acura will not start....it is not battery or fuses

Make sure yu can hear your fuel pump run when you first turn on your key. If not check fuel pump fuse and relay for power. If your relay is working and your fuses are good it is most probably your fuel pump or fuel filter, the fuel filter is not expensive. If you can't hear it run and everythinng else checks out it is your pump! i hope this helps Merry christmas!
