Foot gets tired on the gas pedal

New to me 2005 Echo hatch, manual.

I find my foot gets very tired, almost cramping, on the gas pedal. I can't seem to find a position that lets me control gas smoothly and be comfortable. I've driven manuals for 30 years and never experienced this before. Any one else experienced this, and what's the solution?

Car will not accelerate when gas pushed

Clutch plate and pressure plate seem to be too weak to pull the car. To test the clutch plate, park the car on flat surface. Pull the hand brake up, start the car, depress the foot brake pedal, depress the clutch pedal, put the car in 1st gear, press the gas pedal and leave the clutch pedal at once, while keeping the brake pedal depressed.
Follow one of the two following statements:
1. Engine does not shut down and remain start. (Clutch plate, pressure plate and clutch bearing defective - Replace all as a set)
2. Engine shuts down. (Clutch system is OK and does not require any repair).

I have a 2005 ford mustang. it easily spins when i barely get on the gas pedal. what can i do?

it sounds like your tires are spinning when you accelerate quickly.Check the condition of your tires. check air pressure. It should be on the door or in your owners manuel, if this is not the problem check tire size with owners manuel. if none of the above is your problem look for a set of new tires made from a softer rubber with more gripping power if this was at all helpful please leave me good feedback.

I have a 2005 suzuki forenza and when i am driving my car jerks violently and while my foot is on the gas pedal the engine does not go the engines just revs up so i let my foot off the gas pedal until it...

check your transmission fluid levels and add if low..also using a white paper towel, wipe some fluid off the stick and see if any contamination is present like blackened gunk and aluminum shavings..this is a sign that the fluid and filter need changed..

My 2005 dodge caravan xlt burns to much gas

You don't say whether the check engine light is on or not so I'll assume it's not. If it isn't the PCM is evidently happy with the way the engine is being controlled. That leaves other things like underinflated tires and driving habits. Vehicles with aluminum wheels have a problem with bead leaks. Accelerating slowly and anticipating stops are important. Drive as though there's a raw egg between your foot and the gas pedal.

Go to a trans shop, the dealer will charge you a couple thousand, for a seven hundred dollar job

Hi mazda 3 2008 gas pedal not responding

I don't know if your Mazda is all electrically ran, but it sounds like it. It may be as simple as a fuse, but mine ended up being the entire fuse block had to be replaced. Also there may just be a loose connection, especially after an accident.
