Hiya I have a 2002 Renault Megane, on one side I had child lock on and my partner knocked it off but somehow it has jammed and the car door won't shut now... any ideas what I can do? Can it be sorted...

When the child lock got knocked off, it left the handle in the door unlatched position. Just knock it back the other way and the door will latch when closed.

Megane door won't open from outside

to open door with child lock activated, insert a plastic strip( i used from Milk bottle) from outside where the child lock is. Try to push plastic in such a way the child lock push from closed position to open position. Myself did it in 3 attempts and door was able to open from inside in megane fidji 51 reg.

Radio code for renault megane sport 04

There is no universal code, each radio has its own. You get the code from a dealer or from a site that unlocks radios - either way you have to pay for it.

lol a little more info may help?

renault megans have a common fault with the doors locking shut and refuseing to open. the centeral locking unit will need replaceing but heres the problem.... the only way you can get the centeral locking unit off is by takeing 3 bolts off. but these can only be accesed when the door is open.

so what to do? gather your weapons of mass destruction (hammer and screw driver) remove the pannel on the inside and the door handle on the outside. then smash and swear and smash and smash untill all of a suddon the door pops open. iv had to do this on 2 meganes now theres no other way. its good fun! play so hate music realy loud and just let it all out lol.
