Where is the abs sensor located in a 2002 peugeot 206?

abs sensors are usually placed behind the hub common up the axis of the hub side facing forward or bridges carrying the transport direction of the shaft.
If a wheel is out from under the car for the principle to be there 1-2 power cord is usually one of the brake wear sensor wire but the other usual abs-conductor wire ends as soon as it is usually the sensor. Do not break wiring in vain. Abs sensor wire is usually a well-insulated connector. Beware off the assembly, abs sensor Latching bolt or screw may not be so easy anymore to come off it can break (corrosion have done their job). And as the abs sensor in taking her out of the socket - they are often stuck as a result of corrosion. Beware of the assembly, so as not to damage the abs ring gear.

My abs light wont turn off

There are several possible issues here. The ABS light will turn on when
  • brake fluid level is low
  • the pads need replacing (maybe)
  • the ABS control fuse / relay system has a problem.
  • a wheel sensor is not not connected or broken, or there's dirt/snow on a wheel hub sensor ring.
  • the ABS computer is dead.
  • the ABS control valve block has a pressure problem.
Your brakes will still function safely, but with no ABS action.

The ABS computer has an error port, like the ECU has. The dealer should have the tool to read any ABS error code.

If you are technically competent, pull the wheels off and check the ABS sensor ring and sensors for dirt and cable connections.

Anti-lock Brake light is on

The ABS sensors needs to be cleaned and checked. The ABS sensors are dirty. If enough dirt builds up on the sensors it will trip the lights. But if sensors are clean then its the problem of faulty sensor. If one of the sensors or it wiring is damaged, the ABS and TRAC OFF lights will glow to alert you that the systems will not work as designed. Check the ABS sensors.Loosen the lug nuts on the tire that has the ABS sensors behind them. Jack the car up and place jack stands under the car.--------------Thanks.Helpmech.

Abs speed control flashing

Likely an ABS Wheel Speed Sensor is not sending the proper signal to the ABS module.
Could be a dirty sensor, ring, or a bad wiring to the sensor from the ABS control module.

Check for a dirty sensor, first.

Where is the abs speed sensor on a 5 series bmw?as the abs light and traction light have both illuminated

You have 4 wheel speed sensors. There is one at each wheel located just behind the hub. You can trace it by loacting the black insulated wire leading out from the wheel well and going behind the wheel.

Where exactly is the abs sensor located on my 99 dodge 1500 4x4?

Normally your ABS sensors are on the wheel hubs.  Take the tire off and look for wires going up by your brakes.  That would be the ABS sensor.
