Just off the top of my head; try facing motor from fan-end,on the right side of the block under the manifold set-up, a small flexible mirror should help you see it.

Check radiator fluid level if its too low the water pump cant build up enough pressure to get the fluid circulating. if the engine isnt heating up at all (temperature guage on dash doesn't go up) you will need a new thermostat, rather inexpensive part that is fairly simple to change.
