Re: 2010 model laguna drivers door will not open with...
If all of the other locks are unlocking and only the drivers door is a problem then it is likely that you have a problem with the central locking pump on the door lock. This is one unit and the entire door lock will need to be replaced.

My car key goes into the lock on my driver's side door, but won't turn at all. It works fine in the trunk and passenger side, but all of a sudden, the driver's door won't open.... $100 for just a new lock cylinder from the auto parts store) and that ... It meant I had to have two keys, 1 for the doors, 1 for the ignition.

You have the "valet" key that won't open your doors. ... and 1 keyfob. a friend game me another keyfob and i programmed it. but i only have 1 key. ..... There is no wear on the lock on the doors but you will see wear on the key and the ignition.
It looks like that your 'closed door' sensor is out of order or the door itself doesn't reach it far enough. put something sticky on the tip of sensor and try again.
the reason the alarm is going off is because the doors more than likely were last locked with the keyfob which also sets the alarm. if you have the keyfob anywhere you can disable it with that and just use the keys normally but if you don't have the keyfob then one can be purchased from your dealer or if you do and it's not working you can take the numbers off of the back of it and look up that model number on ebay and program it for your vehicle.
The alarm is armed if keyfob is used. So you must use the fob to disarm alarm first. So someone can not unlock and open door without keyfob or alarm will be set off.
Open the door and immediately place the key in the ignition, that will shut off the alarm. The batteries in the Keyfob are probably dead and need to be replaced. You will see that the keyfob can be opened, though do it carefully, and you can replace the batteries. This will fix the remote. You may also have a valet button in the car which temporarily disables the alarm and will keep the alarm from sounding if the door is opened.

Hello.. Not 100% sure what you mean, but if your saying that when you use the keyfob, only the drivers door unlocks, try pressing unlock twice in quick succession. This should unlock all the doors. Hope this helps.
It is a micro switch and it's in the door latch on the door. If you use the side of a screwdriver blade to push the bit in the latch right up on one of the doors that have working switches ie door light coming on, door open coming up on the dash you will see that the light etc goes out. It's the same for the the laguna 1 and the Laguna 2. All I did to correct the problem on my Laguna 2 was spray loads of WD40 in the latch and it started to work but only for a couple of months so I am getting a latch from the breakers. I can only hope it has a good switch in it.
